Back to School in Edgewater. Come and See at Senn Park

As summer winds down, we are gearing up for another great school year in the 48th Ward. Join me this Wednesday, August 31, from 5-7 pm on the Senn High School Lawn for the Annual 48th Ward Back to School Picnic. This is a great chance for community youth to reconnect with classmates and for parents to learn about local opportunities and resources available to their families.

The Back to School Picnic will feature: school supplies giveaways; balloons and face painting from State Rep. Kelly Cassidy; free pizza from Giordano's (while supplies last); live music from School of Rock and local teen band Moral Majority; circus performances from CircEsteem; free flu shots for people 10+ and Tdap shots for people 14+ from Walgreens; and more!
