UNDER THE SEA

Dear Parents,

The Month of June at Diana’s Daycare, we will be learning all about the Ocean. We will be reading many books related to the Ocean and will focus on the book “Life in an Ocean” by Carol K. Lindeen.

The Children:

- Will learn about the Ocean (salt water)

- Will Learn about the world (land, water and our planet)

- Will learn about the crab (the animal with claws)

- Will learn about Shellfish (the animal with hard outer shell)

- Will learn about Fish (the animal with gills and fins)

- Will learn about Seaweed (plants that grows in the ocean)

- Will learn about Corals (Soft and Hard coral)

- Will learn about Sea Turtles (Ancient Creatures)

We are also planning to go to the Shed Aquarium on the 15^th of June. This is one of the City of Chicago Free Museum days on their Calendar. Parents are invited to come along. More info will be given at the Center to sign your child up.
